What inspired you to become a party vendor?

I spent most of my career in sales and loved it. Managing small staffing though became overwhelming so I wanted a change. I wanted to start my own business and create my own schedule.

What makes your services unique?

We spin fresh gourmet cotton candy on the cone. I would say our flavor options, our topping options and how we spin our cotton candy make us unique! I am always trying to come up with new fun things to add to your cotton candy and services.

What’s your favorite part about what you do?

I love getting to see kids try cotton candy for the first time! A lot of kids have never had it fresh on the cone. I also like that I have been able to be a part of events at my kids school, their classrooms and friends and family’s events. I like having my own schedule as well.

If you could throw a dream party for any celebrity, who would it be and what theme would you choose?

My favorite band 311 and it would be Disney themed!

What’s a fun or unexpected trend you've noticed in party planning lately?

Party planning has gotten so elevated lately!! I have noticed so many cute details and personal touches to parties. I love the custom acrylic menus I’ve been seeing at parties. They are so cute!

Can you share your go-to party planning tip that parents might not think of?

Pay your vendors in full before the event. You are busy hosting and in the moment. You don’t want to have to worry about money or invoices in the middle of your celebration.

What’s your favorite party theme to work with, and what makes it special?

I’d have to say anything cowgirl probably! We live in Texas and you can’t have a cowgirl or cowboy party without cotton candy cowgirls! Yee haw!

How do you ensure every event you work on is unique and tailored to the family’s vision?

They get to pick their own flavors for me to bring, I can customize toppings and cotton candy by color to fit any theme. I also create a custom menu for free of charge that’s on theme. I try for my cart to be aesthetically pleasing for all guests and be “insta worthy!”

What’s the most creative party idea you’ve seen?

Well it was more of an idea that was supposed to happened, but sadly didn’t. It was a gender reveal and the parents to be were going to hand me what the gender was and I was going to pour the blue or pink sugar in the bowl and the cotton candy was going to fly out the color of the gender for everyone to see and then I was going to hand them the cotton candy cone to take pics with an eat! I thought it was a super cute idea!

How do you handle unexpected challenges during an event?

I try to always be prepared. I have had machines blow up and stop working so I bring back ups now.

What’s a behind-the-scenes look at your preparation process for a party?

I arrive before my spin time is to start and I always give a warning in advance that I need electricity and I ask the host where they would like me set up. My setup does not take too long at all.

What’s the best way for families to make their party stand out?

Whatever your kid loves! Kids can sometimes be so easy to please and can be happiest with the simplest things. I’ve done elaborate parties, and the smallest parties where I’m the only thing there and the kids were just as excited. I always tell the host to have their kids read or go over the flavors with them so they can pick them out themselves and get excited for us to come.
